Video of Iditarod musher Karen Land
For those who were unable to join us for our "Lunch in the Library" with Iditarod musher Karen Land and her sled dog Borage, here's the video of her presentation at Seward County Community College/Area Technical School library on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010.
There were some technical diffiulties between Parts 1 and 2 and at the end of Part 7, but we managed to get most of her presentation. Enjoy!

Beer City Gals Invade SCCC/ATS Library
The Seward County Community College/Area Technical School and its patrons were treated to a wonderful performance by "the Beer City Gals" Monday.
The Beer City Gals, a reader’s theater group, were the first program of the academic year for the “Lunch in the Library,” a series of presentation at SCCC/ATS over the noon hour.
The library had a record turnout for the event as the audience was treated to a wonderful skit, which was highly entertaining and informative.
The Beer City Gals tell the story of a group of Liberal women who travel to the 19th century border-town of Beer City, OK to convince the madame of the local brothel, Pussy Cat Nell, to leave the area.
We'd like to thank the Beer Gals, Dr. Pauline Hodges, Pamela French, Virginia Frantz, and Eralene Scafer, and everyone who joined us for the "Lunch in the Library."
Please take our survey and let us know what you thought of the program.
Here are some clips of the "Beer City Gals."
